I have always had a passion for working with children. I got babysitter certified when I was 13 and then started my first long-term nanny job during my senior year of high school. I worked with the same family for 5 years. My duties included caring for all 4 children (one child was born during my employment), helping with homework, laundry, cleaning, meal prep and running errands. After graduating from UMBC, I taught preschool for a year before moving to Austin, TX and starting a new nanny job. I worked with 8 week old twins and stayed with the family until the kids started school at age 5. Shortly after that, I got married and my husband and I moved back to the East Coast where I taught preschool for another year before having a child of my own.
