I’m a cheerful, positive, and caring Brazilian living in San Diego for almost two years. I genuinely enjoy working with children and creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for them to grow. I’m loving, patient, and always attentive to each child’s unique needs. As someone who loves studying and learning, I truly enjoy developing new skills — especially when it comes to researching and planning activities that support a child’s growth and development. It brings me joy to contribute to a child’s learning journey in meaningful ways. I also take great pleasure in helping the family with daily routines. I’m happy to support wherever I can to help make family life smoother and more joyful. My journey here as nanny: Starting in January 2024, I began working as a nanny for families here, gaining valuable experience with children of different ages. - I worked with a baby from 7 Read more months old until he was 1 year and 2 months, supporting key milestones such as introducing solid foods, taking his first steps, and overall development. - I also cared for another baby for 6 months, starting when he was 7 months old. This baby had a bone malformation in his leg, requiring delicate care, especially during the pre- and post-surgery period, which included using a cast and an immobilizer. - In my last job, I worked as a housekeeper for a family with two children, ages 6 and 3. During this time, I also provided babysitting for them whenever needed, assisting with leisure activities and attending to their basic needs (laundry, lunch box preparation…). Additionally, I worked occasional days as a nanny for a child of 1y/5y/6y/9y. Now, I’m looking for a position that requires my dedication for more hours, in an adjustable way. I am motivated to balance this work with my studies, which take place full day on Tuesday. I’m available on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and weekends. If you need me during the weekend, I'll be available too. If you have personal commitments, I can also work extra days or hours. I can arrange: - drive license and my own car; - CPR certificate; - References from recent jobs. I am available to start working in May or before that (but on Tuesdays I have class from 08:00am to 5:30 Pm). I'm taking a TESOL course (Teaching English to Students of Other Languages). Let me know if this could work for you. In addition, I have already worked as a teacher's assistant in a school for 1 year in Brazil, with children aged 2 and 3.
