MY EXPERIENCE I am blessed to be a mom, but my baby is now 24 and on his own! I am a stepmom to a live-in young adult with autism. Adding to the mix, I am also a daughter of a mother with dementia. In addition to my personal family experiences, I was a babysitter for many years in my teens. I currently babysit the children of extended family members whenever possible! WHY I LOVE IT I was recently laid off from my corporate marketing job and have decided to switch gears and follow my heart. Working with people, both young and old, makes me happy.
