Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy working with children and helping them learn, grow, and feel safe. Building a bond with each child and being part of their developmental journey is something I find incredibly rewarding. I also love supporting families by creating a fun, nurturing, and dependable environment when they need an extra set of hands. What experience do you have? I’ve worked with children of all ages, from infants to preschoolers, both in professional childcare settings and in-home babysitting. I previously worked at The Growing Years, where I was a Lead Teacher in the Infant classroom and an Assistant Teacher with both the Toddler and Preschool age groups. In addition to my center-based experience, I’ve also provided babysitting and part-time care for families during evenings and weekends, helping with meals, bedtime routines, learning activities, and more. What skills Read more and training do you have? I’m reliable, patient, and love creating age-appropriate learning activities. I have hands-on experience with infant care (diapering, feeding, naptime routines) as well as early childhood education practices that support toddlers’ and preschoolers’ social-emotional and academic development. I’ve taken coursework in child development, and I’m CPR and First Aid certified. I also have experience working with children with ADHD and sensory needs, so I’m comfortable adapting routines and providing extra support when needed.
