Hello! My name is Melissa Smart. I am a Guest Teacher for IDEA and Kipp schools all over San Antonio, as well as a mother of a wonderful 8 year old little lady. I usually work with the Early Education classrooms, and have worked with special needs children as well. I have also worked the full K-12 classrooms. I think children should be nurtured, constructively corrected with a detailed explanation, and I use the “7 effective strategies: Love and Logic for classrooms K-12. Every child should be built up, not broken down, and be shown unconditional love and support. They are the most important souls we have, and should be protected and cared for with respect, empathy, and compassion.
