Hello! I am a Portland-based educator and youth worker. I received my undergraduate degrees in English and Youth Studies, and Master's of Education from the University of Minnesota. I have an Oregon teaching license and specialize in curriculum design and constructivist pedagogy. Additionally, I have my 200-hour yoga teacher certification from Breathe for Change, a program based specifically in facilitating mindfulness, social emotional learning, and yoga for children. I have been doing a combination of nannying, tutoring, coaching, and teaching for over 14 years now. I have a strong background in literacy, but teach a variety of subjects at an art & science school here in Portland and can offer individualized academic support to your child in most subjects.
