Hello! I'm Bobbi. I'm currently in my 19th year as a nanny. Caregiving has never been just a job to me; it’s a calling and something I take great pride in. I started working with children at a young age and quickly realized that being part of their early development is one of the most rewarding ways I can spend my time. Over the years, I’ve found a special connection with newborns and toddlers. I believe this comes from my comfort with non-verbal communication, which was shaped by growing up with a non-verbal brother. He was one of my earliest and most important teachers in caretaking. His needs and the impact of those who cared for him showed me just how meaningful and valuable the role of a caregiver can be. I carry that understanding with me into every home and with every child. My academic background is in Theatre, Read more and while it may seem unrelated, the experience gave me strong communication skills, creativity, and adaptability that continue to enhance my work as a nanny. I’ve recently relocated to New Haven and look forward to connecting with families in the area. I am new to Sittercity; therefore, I have no reviews (yet!), but I have multiple references and written reviews from other platforms that I am happy to share upon request.
