Hi!, In my early teenage years, I was considered the neighborhood babysitter. I was an aunt at an early age, so taking care of little ones is very natural for me. After college, I was an out of work artist that fell back on childcare for employment. I worked as a professional Nanny In Washtenaw county for many years. As a I got older, my role has changed from "fun aunt", to more of a caring grandmother. I still like to engage children in art projects, reading books and nature walks. I don't have any children of my own, but I do have pets. I have always had either a cat(s) or dog(s) for most of my adult life. And when children interact with pets, I believe it teaches them compassion and curiosity.
