Hi! My name is Shaelea Finney, and I have a passion for caring for and educating children. I recently completed my first year as a kindergarten teacher, and I earned my Bachelor's degree in Education from Missouri Southern State University. I am certified to teach children from birth through 3rd grade. I love being a sitter because I enjoy helping children learn, grow, and feel confident in a safe, nurturing environment. I believe every child deserves patience, encouragement, and opportunities to have fun while learning through play and everyday experiences. Throughout college, I worked in several daycare settings, caring for children of all ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. These experiences, along with my time as a kindergarten teacher, have given me a strong understanding of child development, age-appropriate activities, behavior management, and creating positive routines.
