Hello! My name is Kylie. About my work experience, I have worked two years as a preschool assistant teacher, two years as a pet care associate at a pet store, two years of elderly care (both in assisted living, and in-home), and months as a behavioral health counselor in a pediatric eating disorder treatment center. I also have worked as a job coach for adults with developmental disabilities. Most recently, I have worked as a respite care provider for a child with disabilities, and as a private nanny to school-aged children. For childcare experience, I worked with primarily ages 1-3 at the preschool. I have extensive knowledge in potty training- that was a huge thing in our classroom! At the preschool, I also conducted small group activities independently, including sensory activities, math, reading, and art. I also assisted the lead teacher in conducting large group activities. Outside of the preschool, Read more I gained experience caring for ages 6 months-14 years through years of babysitting, and nannying. I am a non-smoker, and have my own car which is reliable. I have been transporting children in my car for four years now. I also am CPR/AED/First Aid certified, and QMAP certified (qualified medication administration person). With my QMAP, I have knowledge of medications, and medication administration. With all my experience, I have gotten the opportunity to work with many adults and children with disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, ADHD, Alzheimer's, various psychiatric disorders, and other physical disabilities like epilepsy. As a person, outside of work, I have four dogs that I love very much! I enjoy spending time outdoors, as well as doing crafts such as painting, and scrapbooking. I also love to read and write. To conclude, I have a wide variety of job experience including childcare (preschool, babysitting, and nannying), petcare, elderly care, job coaching, mental health care, and respite care.
