My most recent experience in childcare is from an after-school center where I help youths ages 12-18 with their homework. I went once weekly for three hours in the Fall '24- Spring '25 school year (except for during breaks). In Spring of '22, I helped out in the daycare program for infants to pre-K twice a week for 3-4 hours. I mostly worked with the infants and toddlers during that time. I changed lots of diapers, played the "I'm-gonna'-get-you game (usually a hit with that age group), and sang lots of songs with, or to, the kids. From Spring '13- Spring '15, I taught English at the elementary school level overseas. Then in '16 I worked a year at an English conversation school. I had students ages 3-85, but most were under 10. I had two small groups with 3-4 year-olds and a 1-on-1 student 5 years of age. I Read more had to plan for 45-minute lessons for them with fun activities and songs. I love singing, coloring, but most especially reading aloud with the younger kids. With older kids I like to help with schoolwork, or karaoke, art, or reading. Taking walks and going to a park and taking pictures is always fun too (only if they have the right device, if not it's only fun for me). I cannot wait to get to know some new people and families in the Cleveland area. I've lived there 3 years already, but I mostly have just church friends.

Experience
