Greetings! My name is Natalia, I am 23 years-old and am from Florida. I am currently a preschool teacher and have been working at my school for 2 years and a half now. I am CPR and first aid certified, as well as state certified to work in childcare. I was new to teaching in a childcare facility back in August of 2022, and have fallen in love with it since then. Growing up I’d always dreamt of being a teacher and since becoming one it has filled my heart with so much joy, compassion, commitment, and a sense of community unlike any other workplace I’ve been at before. I was initially hired as the preschool assistant teacher and now have made my way to being the lead teacher in my class. I love sharing responsibilities with my co-teacher and finding ways to make our class fun-filled but educational and Read more meaningful as well. I have babysat for students in my class, and in the classes next door to me. I love creating relationships with all my students and parents, it helps me better understand how I can best support your child’s needs and I love partnering up with parents and learning more about each families dynamics and what areas they need extra support in, that I can help provide. I’ve babysat from ages 2-6 years old, I don’t have much experience with infants but I am always willing to learn and adapt to a new situation! I love animals and have no problem (or allergies) with them in a household while I’m babysitting. I am looking for another source of income, which is what led me to finding Sittercity, and ways to give back to my community by giving parents the opportunity to be themselves and have some time away from the kiddos, even though I know we love them so much! My schedule is pretty flexible but I am not available on Sundays, as it is my day in the week where I like to reset and get ready for the week ahead of me. Working with kids has brought so much healing into my life and given me the opportunity to see life through a new lens, I am grateful for all of my families that have given me the opportunity to work and grow with them in the past year of my life.
