I have been working in early childhood education professionally since 2012. I have worked for private families, daycares, public schools, as well as Montessori schools. I have experience working with children ages 15mo-11yrs old. Most recently, I have worked for a public school after school program with the K-3rd group, where I was responsible for homework help, monthly activities such as crafts, athletic activities and group games, and monitoring outdoor play. I have two years of Montessori toddler classroom experience, so I would be happy to help you create a Montessori environment at home. I worked in Tokyo, Japan teaching English to adults and children for two years, and also majored in Japanese while I was in college. I can speak and understand day to day conversational Japanese, and would be happy to provide beginner lessons or communicate with your children in Japanese if desired. I have two cats of my own currently, but have in the past cared for dogs and other small exotic pets. My hobbies include arts and crafts, cooking, and exploring the outdoors!
