Hello! My name is Karol Peñaranda. I am 41 years old, happily married for 13 years, and the proud mother of a wonderful 9-year-old son. I currently live in Randolph, Massachusetts, and I am originally from Costa Rica. Spanish is my first language, and I have been living in the United States for the past 20 years. I have nearly 18 years of professional experience as a nanny, caring for children of all ages, from newborns to school-aged kids. Before moving to the United States, I studied Early Childhood Education for two years in Costa Rica. Although I was not able to complete my degree because I moved to the U.S., my passion for working with children began long before that. As a teenager, I helped my mother run her home daycare in Costa Rica, so I have truly been surrounded by babies and children for most of my life. After that, I had the privilege of working with another amazing family for the past 4 years. I value the long-lasting relationships I have built with the families I've worked with, and I believe those long-term commitments reflect the trust, dedication, and love I bring to my work.Being around children is something I genuinely enjoy. Every child I have had the privilege of caring for has taught me something valuable, and I remember each one with great affection. I always strive to give back the same love, kindness, patience, and care that I receive from them. It is incredibly rewarding to know that I can play a small part in helping children grow into kind, confident, and happy individuals.I enjoy planning fun and engaging activities that support children's development, including trips to parks and libraries, arts and crafts, music, reading time, imaginative play, and age-appropriate educational activities. I believe children learn best through play, exploration, and loving guidance.As an added benefit, Spanish is my native language.
