Meet Mikiya

Hi! I’m a college student who truly enjoys working with kids and being someone families can depend on. I come from a big family and have 8 younger cousins who I’ve helped care for from infancy through their teenage years. I also have a younger sister who I’ve been helping take care of since I was old enough to do so, so caring for children has always been a natural part of my life. This past summer, I worked at a summer camp where I gained even more hands-on experience working with children of different ages and personalities. I’m also CPR trained, responsible, patient, and comfortable keeping kids entertained, safe, and on schedule. I’m happy to help with much more than just babysitting! Since I’m currently in college, I can help with homework, studying, and schoolwork. I can cook meals and prepare snacks, and I’m great with cleaning and keeping Read more things organized—I grew up helping my mom with her cleaning business, so cleaning is definitely one of my strengths! I love working with kids because every day is different. They’re fun, energetic, and always keep me on my toes.
