Hi parents! With virtual schooling right around the corner, I am looking to help a family navigate these new systems. I hope to bring a sense of relief and trust to your home and family. I am 21 years old and live on the edge of Sun Prairie/East Madison with my boyfriend, two lab mix puppies, and cat. My sister and I have a six year age gap, so I was able to learn important care-taking skills from a young age. I started out babysitting her from toddler on. I have since worked with many different ages and personalities between child-friendly entry level jobs, watching over friend/family members’ children, and babysitting part-time for both shorter and longer term arrangements. I am now self-employed, which caused me to opt for leaving my post-secondary education behind. In high school I had a 4.0GPA including AP classes, and I was the captain of Read more my varsity cheerleading team. My strongest subjects are math and writing, but I am able to jump into nearly any topic and adjust quickly. I am willing and able to handle tasks such as actively monitoring and participating in kid-friendly activities, cooking or meal prep, schoolwork help, household chores, pet care, etc. I strive to follow every instruction exactly as it is given and I am not afraid to ask for clarification. I am currently seeking out a position in this field because I love having the chance to help others, no matter how big or small. I am especially interested in helping children develop and grow into the world around them! I believe this school year will be challenging for parents across the country as not only will there be a higher demand for sitters, there will also be a higher demand for those able to guide students through lesson plans. I want to be apart of the solution and offer a family the proper assistance. I am most interested in full time sitting throughout this school year. I am extremely flexible in terms of scheduling and can conform to your household’s needs. As I mentioned, I am self-employed. Furthermore, my company is completely outsourced at this point so I do not have scheduling restraints in any capacity. I choose to continue working as I like to keep busy and find different ways to serve my community. I believe children need to be surrounded by well-rounded individuals in order to continuously encourage growth mentally and emotionally.
