Hi! My name is Elise, and I am a current undergraduate student at Oregon State University looking to connect with families and care for children while I am home for the summer. Through my previous job and volunteer experiences, I have developed a love for working with children, and I hope to pursue a career as a pediatric occupational therapist! My previous childcare experience includes working as an assistant preschool teacher at a summer camp for children ages 3-6 years, volunteering at Vacation Bible School camps in the 4-year old classroom, and volunteering at Camp Yakety Yak for children with physical, intellectual, or developmental disabilities. I am energetic and outgoing, but also able to remain calm and patient. I can manage varying emotions and aim to always provide support and encouragement to the children I work with!
