I have worked in childcare since I was 18 years old. I would describe my caregiving style as playful, but firm and always leading with love. I believe in fostering children’s natural creativity through lots of open ended play, art, being outside, reading, and incorporating music as much as possible. (I play guitar and ukulele myself.) I started out in a daycare setting, but quickly realized I enjoyed a more warm and personal atmosphere. That’s when I began nannying. The bulk of my experience is with newborns and toddlers, but I have experience with elementary aged children as well. Now that I’m a mom myself, I am looking for a family who would be okay with my son tagging along currently he’s eight months old.
