I was born and raised in the Boston area but took off in 2010 to live & travel in India, SE Asia, Australia, and Central & South America. I absolutely love to travel & consider myself a jack of alI trades. I was an Elementary English & Phonetics teacher in Thailand, an Elementary English-language teacher in India, a winery cellar hand & mango packer in Australia, and now I'm a doctor of hearing and balance for children :) I have so many silly and courageous stories and would love to share them with you and your family. I have lots of experience as a nanny, and numerous excellent references. I had the honor of employing Maura to watch my young daughter for quite a few months a few years ago. We vetted each other and she took a chance on a devoted single dad. I could tell she was a rare person. She made such a huge difference in my child's life. Not only was Maura very gifted in empathetic care for children, she absolutely set the bar for caregivers for me. Can't say enough kind things... very grateful for Maura!

Maura initially babysat for our 2.5 year old with special needs and our 6month old. She was very attentive, caring, and patient, and established rapport immediately. Maura seems to naturally understand children and how to connect with them. When we were in a bind and needed more regular help, Maura stepped right in to fill a temporary nanny position. Maura has been extremely responsible, responsive, and very easy going. She communicates well, follows through on commitments, and our children love her! I would highly recommend her for short or longer term childcare.

Maura has been a friend to my child from the moment they met. The compassion, expertise, and flexibility Maura has are exceeded only by her desire and willingness to help.
