I’m a certified Home Health Aide (HHA) with a love for working with children. I’ve worked as a Montessori assistant teacher for 6 years and as a nanny for multiple families, including caring for twins and children of various ages. I've been a nanny for over 18 years, and for the last 5 years I have worked for a family of three sisters taking care of their seven children periodically. I focus on making life easier for both parents and kids, teaching things like the alphabet, colors, numbers, shapes, and helping with potty training if needed. I’m easy-going and happy to work with your parenting style. I’m also available for drop-off/pick-up care at my home. Pay is negotiable. Feel free to reach out! Thank you, and have a great day!

Monelle has been an exceptional asset to our family over the last year as our full-time nanny. I was lucky enough to find her on Sittercity and from the time we interviewed her we felt warmth, commitment, and a genuine desire to care for children. Being first time parents to twins who spent an extended stay in the NICU, we were immediately at ease placing them under the care of Monelle once we both returned to work. She cared for them starting at 6 months dealing with consistent reflux in one of our babies, helping to build and maintain a schedule and routine, built weekly curriculum that was age appropriate and helped them meet their milestones, and did an array of activities including walks, park visits, museums, and kid play places. She also supported baby led weaning and made purees and age appropriate foods for them to try. Following our guidance, she introduced allergens and closely watched for any hazards. Our kids are now 18 months and thriving under her care. They know their first few letter, colors, shapes, and can use sign language to communicate their basic needs and speak a few words. She's also introduced potty training and both kids have started to use it! Never once did we worry about punctuality, safety, or communication as she has always double and triple checked with us prior to any changes and taught us so many skills along the way. We could not have chosen a better person to support us through this first year of parenting. We're heartbroken to be moving across the country but if we could, we'd bring Monelle along with us. Any family would be lucky to have her support.

Monelle is amazing! My kids absolutely love her. She's on time, and sticks to their schedule. I often come home to find that they've made cookies, banana bread or have done an art project. My kids get so excited when they know she's coming, and she's one of the few people I have come to trust with my children.

Monelle has been working in my home, 40+ hrs a week for three months, and I can truly say she is excellent. I am a mother of a 3 year old and 1 yr old twins and Monelle literally picked up where I left off. She cared for my twins from 8-2 and then got them into the car to pick up the older one from school, at which point she cared for all three until 5. Monelle carried the twins in/out of a second floor walk up at the same time (not easy!), gave daily lessons to the twins with flashcards and books, did projects with all three (I have them proudly displayed around the house!) did the day to day up-keep related to the children, and worked with my older child on letters and numbers and any homework she may have had. All this in-between meals, snacks, bottles, diaper changes/potty and whining! :) She had endless amounts of experience and advice to offer and basically cured my daughters' constipation issue, giving me better advice than the specialist I saw. Monelle is patient with the children, has a warm heart and a sweet character. She is always smiling and laughing and is a pleasure to have around the house. She sent me pictures of the children everyday - which is priceless! Our family loves her and we hate to let her go. I have had to change our work agreement as my own work schedule has slowed down. I highly, highly recommend Monelle to anyone looking for excellent childcare.
