Hi! I'm Jen, I have about 12 years of nannying experience, on top of babysitting experience starting in 1999. I've worked with kids of all ages, including many years of infant care. I have my Communication Studies degree from St. Cloud State University. At first, I was planning on becoming a teacher which required many early childhood development and psychology courses. I changed by major because I found I like more one on one, personal interactions with kids. I love working with kids because they see the world in such a positive light. They are brutely honest, which I appreciate, and absolutely hilarious. I enjoy going to standup comedy shows and listening to comedy podcasts, but I've never laughed harder than I have hanging out with kids. Another reason I love working with kids is because I need to do something that makes a difference in the world. Helping a Read more child to grow, learn, have confidence, and go out into the world with kindness and love, makes a massive difference. The activities I like to do with kids are endless. Crafting is the best, and Pinterest is amazing. Oh, you like dinosaurs? Let's make them out of toilet paper rolls! I also love dance parties, singing, obstacle courses, dress up, building forts, board games, READING, and anything outdoors. I enjoy watching the child's natural curiosity take over. I provide opportunities for them to use their imagination to design their own projects and games.
