A… Caring for children continually compels me to consider just how much the rest of us “elders” can truly learn from them. Since even my earliest endeavors in guiding, protecting, encouraging, disciplining, educating, loving, inspiring, and caring for the sweet souls of youth, I’ve cultivated a sort of certitude— a wholehearted faith in the magic, inimitable, transformative, precious powers carried (though, unfortunately/also, often underestimated,misunderstood,&/or disregarded) in the mind and heart of every child throughout their odyssey towards adulthood. B… My time spent with each child &/or group of children during my past professional relationships repeatedly humbled, inspired, and compelled me by the multitude of opportunities (gifted to me by those children for whom I cared) to not only remember the curious magic of this world, but also to witness it anew— as one only can when in the transparent presence of a child’s explorative gaze. C… My last employment in Read more babysitting was a yearlong position for a family of four children (the youngest of whom was an angelic boy with learning disabilities, whose monumental maturation period of growing from an infant into a toddler I oversaw & helped to organically facilitate via my caretaking responsibilities and relationships. D… Though my treasured time with this family concluded with the subsequent commencement of my music studies at Conservatory almost three years ago, the richness of my relevant experience is evidenced by the immense range of my past positions in tutoring, coaching, teaching, camp-counseling, cooking, guiding, transporting, and working with/caring for youth of (and beyond) nearly every grade level & age group. E… I pride myself in my patience and desire to intentionally interact with children, in order to make them feel safe and see . I cook, love music, dance & sing, swim, hike, speak three languages (two natively), and keep a clean house. When it comes to your kids, I will take your lead and execute your schedule/objectives, but hope to earn your trust for the freedom to supplement with my intentions to offer your child my most and best energies.
