Hello! My name is Jennifer, and I have spent the past 12 years working as a Montessori infant and toddler teacher. I am also the parent of two children, ages 13 and 16, whom I have raised within the Montessori philosophy. After more than a decade in a school setting, I have decided to transition into a nanny position. I am deeply passionate about the work I do. While I greatly value the experience and knowledge I gained in the classroom, the aspect of my work that has always felt most meaningful to me is building close relationships with families. I believe in partnering with parents to support not only their child’s needs, but the needs of the family as a whole. I often say that my role is to bring my expertise in child development and education, while parents bring their expertise in their family and their child as Read more an individual. When we work together, we create the strongest possible foundation for a child to grow, thrive, and reach their highest potential. I am CPR/First Aid certified, comfortable working with all animals, and able to assist with housekeeping and transportation. I enjoy creating activities and experiences for children to engage with, explore, and develop their foundational skills. Also, I am a big proponent of toilet learning and am happy to help with potty training!
