Hi, my name is Katie. I'm 36 years old and I absolutely love working with children. I'm a low-tech/no-tech nanny, and unless specifically directed by the parents, I prefer not to use technology (i. e. television, computer, video games or screen time using phones) for entertainment while children are in my care. I am much more in favor of using card/board games, drawing/coloring, or more interactive games like hide-and-seek, house or tag. I have always really enjoyed working with kids, and have experience with children of all ages, through nanny/babysitting jobs as well as working in preschools and church nurseries throughout the years. To me, babysitting is not simply a job, it's an opportunity to get to know and help children in my community, help them where it's needed, and assist their parents in keeping a home running smoothly. I don't smoke and am certified in CPR and First Aid. Read more I love animals and don't have allergies, except occasional seasonal outdoor allergies. I cannot lift more than 20 pounds, per instructions from my chiropractor. I cannot offer driving services, as I don't have a car, however, I would be able to reliably get to work through utilizing Uber and Lyft.
