Hi, I’m Kristine! I bring a strong background in childcare, education, and wellness—with over 6 years of experience working with children from infancy to age 10. My career began in the world of special needs care, where I worked as a direct support professional for children with autism, epilepsy, and other developmental differences. I supported both group settings and one-on-one family care, helping children build social-emotional skills, regulate their nervous systems, and safely engage in everyday life—from structured routines to fun community outings. That experience taught me the value of patience, presence, and truly meeting each child where they are. It also sparked a deep interest in emotional development and early learning, which led me to join an early childhood education center. I started as an assistant teacher and eventually became assistant director. There, I worked closely with children from infancy to Pre-K and helped lead a program that prioritized Read more social-emotional growth, play-based learning, and strong caregiver relationships. Most recently, I worked as a medical assistant in functional medicine, where I gained even more understanding of the mind-body connection and how to support the wellbeing of children and families from a holistic perspective. Across every role, my focus has remained the same: creating safe, nurturing environments where children feel seen, supported, and free to be themselves. I believe in connection over correction, modeling calm behavior, and keeping things both structured and fun. I live just outside of Baldwin Park and have a clean driving record.
