Hi! I’m the mom of 3 exceptional kids, a daughter 24, and twin sons, 21. I started babysitting at the age of 12, and have done that my whole life. I have a BS in education from SRU and started working at Kinder-Care as the Infant room teacher, then the Toddler room teacher, right after graduating. I left there to nanny for one of my students and stayed with them for 4 years until their mom quit her job. I then accepted a nanny job for a family’s first-born and their next 2 children and stayed with them for close to 10 years. As the kids got older, I only worked on weekends for date night until they were old enough to not need me anymore. Following that, I was a nanny for a family with triplets for 4 years. I left a few weeks before my daughter was born Read more and then was a stay-at-home mom. Most recently, I was a nanny for my neighbor’s two kids beginning in January, 2011. I started when their daughter was 10 months old and was with them for 7 years until they moved to MI. Through my years working and being a parent, I am confident that I’d be a great addition to your family and would love and care for your child as much as I do my own. I am patient, kind, nurturing, punctual, dedicated, energetic, calm, honest, approachable, flexible, attentive, and dependable. I don’t call off and I’m willing to come earlier, stay later, work a Saturday evening for date night, work overnight, or 24 hours/day for a few days straight if need be. I can be a coach, teacher, cheerleader, chauffeur, chef, and mentor at the same time. I will sit with your child if they’re sick or hold them if they’re scared or just need a hug. I love reading books with them, playing games, taking long walks, doing artwork, playing outside, and making up our own songs and silly dances. I would like to stay with your family until the kids are old enough to not need me anymore. I can provide you with several references. Thank you for your consideration.
