Hi, I’m Veronica, 38 years old and I’ve worked with kids on and off most of my life, in both paid and unpaid settings. I started off caring for my siblings growing up as I am a part of a big family. I’ve always babysat growing up in our church and loved being around children and Littles. I’ve also worked with youth from preschool age through high school, in therapy settings, schools, special education and in their homes. I also have some experience with infants under 1 as well. I have units completed in childhood education and maintain CPR and first aid certification. My most recent experience with children includes working with used for therapy and supporting them with being independent for self care. I am currently a mom to an amazing three-year-old boy, who would likely be joining me if I picked up sitting jobs during the week. For Read more this circumstance I would not charge an additional fee for additional children, and I’d be open to charging the lower end of my rate due to having to care for him as well simultaneously. For weekend jobs I can have care arranged for him. I am also available for weekend date night care, overnights on the weekends, traveling for drop offs and pickups for activities etc. Open for negotiation of extra tasks such as light laundry and cleaning, bathing children, meal prep and simple cooking.
