Hello, my name is Catherine. I am a stay at home mom of an almost five year old, one dog, and one cat. I am looking for a family who needs some extra help with one or two kids. My son is almost ready to start kindergarten, and so my schedule will be freed up significantly but for now he would be tagging along with me. Raising my kiddo has been a blessing, both challenging and satisfying. Our favorite place is the library, and I love to read! I do all the character voices :) Singing and art projects are also big loves of mine and it’s been fun incorporating that into my parenting style. I enjoy cooking and baking, and I have involved my son in those activities at the different intervals of ability; from safe cutting bananas to helping roll/knead bread dough to introduction of fractions with measuring Read more cups. I also made all of his baby food at home, so I’m fairly proficient in the kitchen when it comes to kids. I don’t mind cutting the crusts off and encouraging exploration with food, while still being realistic about kids specific preferences (my son decided he didn’t like cheese at age two!). I have no problems helping with potty training, bed times or any educational aspects you’d like implemented; I’m game for a plan! I believe that my years of having fun learning and teaching while parenting have honed skills that would be well suited as a nanny. I’d love to pass those skills onto another family.
