Hi! I'm Anda (pronounced like panda) and I've recently decided to change occupations. I am a R.N., but due to the hours, nursing shortages, holidays, and general stress of the job, I've decided to instead work with my first love, children. I am dependable with a reliable 4-door car. I graduated with a 4/4 in Psychology, including Developmental Psychology and Child Psychology. I graduated from my four year program Summa Cum Laude. I participated in a volunteer program, which offered extensive training classes in facilitating children's groups and individual play therapy to foster both trust and growth in kids, through supportive interactions and positive reinforcement. I was trained to re-direct the negative acts and encourage the positive behavior, in children. I volunteered with a program that assisted women in returning to the community and their children, following incarceration. The children ranged from 3 months to 15 years. I also volunteered Read more at the Head Start program out of Shaw College, with school age children, from 6 to 15 years old. I returned to college and was President of my ADN Nursing class. (I worked as a nurse from 2003 -2018). In both my Bachelor's & ADN programs, I tutored students through the Student Center or privately. I also have three beautiful children of my own, the youngest of which is 17. My two girls are in college and my son will be a senior in High School, next year (I'm a very proud mom!!) I haven't done any sitting since college, but I'm hoping someone will consider me, based on my background and love of children. Thanks so much for reading my profile
