Hello, my name is Julia and I am a dedicated career nanny and I am responding to your childcare posting! I have over 8 years of paid experience, and have been a full-time nanny for 6 years. I specialize in infant and toddler care, and have been fortunate enough to have worked with many families where I began working with their children at infancy and was their nanny until they entered preschool years later. I also have experience caring for school-aged children, and am comfortable nannying for up to 4 children at a time. I have taken multiple early childhood development classes, as well as childhood psychology courses. I diligently work to create a safe and nurturing environment for the children in my care, encouraging them to grow and thrive. With newborns and infants I offer daily tracking of naps, bodily movements, and how many milligrams of milk and/or meals are consumed so that parents can track feeding and sleeping trends and seamlessly take over care. I am also well-versed in the major milestones from birth through early childhood, and intentionally incorporate age-appropriate activities to encourage each stage of development. I am comfortable preparing both formula and breast milk for feedings, and have helped with the transition to solid food for many children, so I am confident in preparing age-appropriate and nutritious snacks and meals. I am also happy to provide safe sleep support, as well as sleep-training support. I strive to keep to a consistent schedule for the child to support healthy development and security, and a usual day nannying for me looks like going for stroller walks, reading books, interactive play times, sensory activities, facilitating naps and meal times, and lots of laughs! Finally, I am fully up to date on all vaccinations and booster, as well as having a negative TB test of February. My CPR and first aid certifications are also current, and I have a perfect driving history and a safe and reliable car to provide transportation if needed.
