Hello families! My name is Madelyn, and I am a recent graduate from the University of Connecticut with a B.A. in speech-language & hearing science! I am soon to be a graduate student studying speech-language pathology. I have extensive experience in childcare and special needs care. I have gained my experience through my roles as an infant and toddler teacher in a daycare setting, as a babysitter for a range of ages, and as a caretaker for individuals with disabilities. I currently work as a speech therapist in an educational program for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and a variety of developmental differences. I additionally work as an advocate in disability rights and have strong passions for providing family-centered care that works to meet the diverse needs and values of all families.
