Imaani P.

Imaani has been wonderful with my son. He was around 7 months old when we first hired her, and he is now 9 months. I work from home, so I was able to closely see their interactions throughout the day, and I’ve been very happy with the care and attention she gave him. One of the things I appreciated most about Imaani was her patience, especially when it came to feeding. She never rushed him and took the time to make sure he ate properly and was comfortable. She was also very playful and engaging with him. Rather than simply putting toys in front of him, or being on her phone, she would actually show him how to interact with each toy and play along with him. She would play peek-a-boo with him, which always made him laugh. My son has a lot of energy, and she was great at keeping him active and entertained. She knew how to tire him out in a good way so that he would be ready for a nice nap afterward. I also really appreciated how flexible she was with our schedule. There were days when I needed her to come in earlier because of client calls or stay later than usual, and whenever she was able to accommodate the change, she made it happen. That flexibility was extremely helpful with my work schedule. Communication was another strong point. At the end of each day, she would always give me a rundown of how the day went, including how much he ate, how much milk he drank, diaper changes, naps, and anything else I needed to know. Most importantly, I could see that my son was comfortable with her and enjoyed spending time with her. I felt comfortable leaving them in the house while I ran errands as well. I’m no longer working full-time, which is the reason I no longer need the same level of childcare, but if I were still working full-time, I would definitely continue having Imaani care for my son. I would happily recommend her to another family looking for someone who will genuinely engage with and care for their baby.
