I hired Maggie to stay three nights with my 11 year old boy. All went well extremely well and my child really liked her. Maggie offered to do the extras without me asking (running the dishwasher, doing laundry, etc.,) even though I told her she doesn't need to. My home was in order and my child was content when I returned home, almost as if I hadn't ben away. That was a great feeling and well deserving of a monetary tip on top of the agreed pay. Unfortunately, she isn't dependable for all jobs that she commits to, hence the three star rating. She accepted two separate jobs for me - this three night one and another one a week later for M-Fr overnight when I had to go on a business trip. She cancelled the second job with less than a week's notice due to sudden school obligations and fundraiser events that she decided to do instead. This left me in an incredibly difficult situation trying to scramble to line up other sitters to interview and hire for the job. As parents, you know how critical it is to be able to count on who you hire for something like this and being put in this kind of a bind is something that I think needs to be considered very seriously if you are going to hire her.
