As the oldest of my cousins, I have helped look after them during school holidays since I was 14. Then, I started studying English Language Teaching in 2017, and in the summer of 2018, I went to work as a volunteer in a kindergarten in Ukraine. After I returned back to my country Turkey, I realized that I loved working with children and worked in a study center, both in the kindergarten section and in the 8-12 age groups. My start in caregiving started with the closure of schools during the pandemic and I took care of a few of our neighbors' children. They were generally infants, toddlers or preschoolers. Then, I graduated from university in 2021 and started studying Child Development at another university and at the same time started working again in a kindergarten. At that time, I had school-aged students to whom I gave private lessons. Right now, in the first days of 2024, that baby will soon celebrate her 2nd birthday with me!
