We honestly didn’t think we’d be able to ski on this trip because we were so hesitant about leaving our two-year-old with someone we didn’t know. From the moment we met McKenzie, that completely changed. She made us feel comfortable right away; calm, attentive, and incredibly in tune with our daughter. What really stood out is her background working with children with special needs and as a teacher. You can feel that experience in the way she approaches childcare. Our daughter can get overstimulated easily, and in the past, some babysitters haven’t picked up on that. McKenzie was the opposite; she gave her space, followed her lead, and responded to what she needed in the moment instead of forcing interaction. It made such a difference. Beyond that, she truly went above and beyond anything we expected. On one of the days, I was sick and stayed back, and she not only took care of our daughter but also cleaned, cooked, and even made me soup. That level of care and thoughtfulness is rare. We felt completely at ease leaving our daughter with her, which allowed us to actually enjoy our trip. I can’t recommend McKenzie enough; she’s not just a babysitter, she’s someone who genuinely cares.
