I am a responsible, patient, and energetic sitter who genuinely enjoys working with children. I love being a sitter because I value the way kids see the world. Every age brings something different. I enjoy listening to their ideas, encouraging their creativity, and helping them feel safe and understood. I hope to work in the pediatric medical field one day, and spending time with children has strengthened my desire to support their growth, confidence, and well-being in meaningful ways. I have experience caring for children of all ages in my hometown. I also helped raise my younger sisters while my parents worked. I drove them to activities, cooked meals, helped with homework, and made sure they stayed on schedule. I spent time abroad in Spain teaching elementary students English. I created short PowerPoint lessons, led small group activities, and organized interactive games. I also volunteered in a children’s hospital as Read more an Art Cart runner. I delivered art supplies, worked one-on-one with patients, helped with group art projects, and created a positive and encouraging environment. I currently volunteer at a local hospital in the inpatient rehabilitation center, where I assist staff and support patients throughout the day. I am a Certified Pharmacy Technician and currently an undergraduate student at Baylor University on the pre-med track, double majoring in Biology and Neuroscience. My coursework has given me a strong understanding of child development, health, and safety principles. While I am still early in my clinical training, I am well-educated in foundational health concepts and always prioritize safety, attentiveness, and clear communication with families.
