Hey there! My name is Carmen, and I am a child care professional! Children aren't just my expertise. They are my greatest joy. I've been a nanny for several families for over a decade. In that time I have cared for children of all ages. I simply adore the work I do. The bonds I have made with my previous families have enriched my life in ways I can't even describe. I hope to continue this trend for as long as I can! I am certified, and up to date in both child and infant CPR/First Aide. I have a very reliable vehicle. A big reason I think I have found so much success in this career is simply that I still love most of the stuff grownups are supposed to get bored of. I love drawing, and crafts. I love playing pretend and makebelieve. Making up songs and dances, watching cartoons, taking things apart, putting them back together again. I love exploring new places and going for treasure (or bug) hunts! I'm obsessed with scientific factoids and am a strong believer that the statement of "I don't know" should always be followed up with "But lets find out!" Children in my care are always encouraged to ask questions. They are always encouraged to express their honest feelings. And they are always encouraged to enjoy their childhood.
