Here’s a little more about my experience in childcare: I grew up in a family oriented household. Read more 8 siblings, 4 nephews (& counting), & plenty of new baby cousins over the years. I’m the resident sitter, (paid & unpaid), countless times more than my other siblings, simply because children gravitate to me. Like they know they’re in good hands, because they are. I’m comfortable working with all ages. I have the most experience with infants, and children 1-7 years old. I used to volunteer for my local elementary school as a Pre-K/Kindergarten assistant being apart of the National Junior Honors Society. I’ve also had gigs with friends, family, and my local church! I will be more than happy to provide you with a list of references! :) I’ve been babysitting since a pre-teen. I just love children, their joy, curiosity, fascination for the world. Sitting is not about being in control and forcing kids to “behave” but instead providing that safety & security around their freedom to be children.
