Hi, my name is Sarah, I'm 22, and I've been working with kids ever since I was 13! As the youngest of five kids, I know how much it can be to balance everything on your plate. I'm here to help! I have two older brothers and two older sisters. Having a full household is fun but also chaotic! I started volunteering at summer camps at 13 for kids in grades 1-5 and continued when I graduated high school. In high school, I also worked as a lifeguard and taught swim lessons at my local pool. In college, I worked at my university's family development and child research facility, where I gained a more technical understanding of child development while working with kids ranging from the infant stage, all the way to kindergarten. I also was a tutor for three years. I started working with a nine-year-old in my sophomore Read more year of college and continued to tutor him until graduating. I understand kids well from a technical and developmental perspective and connect well with them interpersonally. Kids are so fun and much smarter than often given credit for.
