Hi, my name is Christy! I am a 20yr old college student and the oldest daughter (4 siblings). I was homeschooled with my siblings and grew up learning how to take care of kids. I worked for a couple of years at a private school called Evergreen Acton Academy (in Norman/Goldsby), working in a Montessori-style classroom with 5-7-year-olds. I have also organized and directed summer camps, putting on kids' musicals over the course of 4 years. The ages of the participants ranged from about 5 to 16 years. I also taught Elementary Anatomy and Astronomy as well as Middle School Chemistry at my mom's hybrid bilingual mission school. I am a student at Abilene Christian University in Texas, where I study Musical Theatre and Bible. While those are my first interests career-wise, I have always had a love of teaching and taking care of kids!
