I am a senior at Viera High School, and I am pursing a career in the future with children. I love working with kids, and I have gained a lot of experience through numerous child-related services and activities. Since seventh grade, I have held many baby-sitting jobs including one in which I oversaw the care of 10 children (with the help of another provider). Throughout my years of experience, I have worked with children ranging from 18 months all the way to 11 years. For the past two summers, I have worked at a day camp in which I supervised 20 to 30 kids at a time ranging from ages 5 to 12. As a camp counselor, my responsibilities included: maintaining a safe environment, managing activities and behavior, finding solutions to problems, as well as various house keeping tasks like cleaning and mopping rooms.
