I was a swim lesson instructor at a local high school in 2018, where I worked with ages 6 months - 10 years old. I exercised patience, constructive feedback, and encouragement to teach and move students a level up. I was a Girl Scout camp counselor from 2016-2020, working with ages ranging from 5-12 year olds. I led them in numerous nature, science, and creative activities to earn patches. I worked at an early education academy from 2020-2023, working with 1-12 year olds. I executed many tasks including cleaning and COVID-19 prevention, food preparation and safety, and educational material creation. I became a lead teacher where I led curriculum, maintained a schedule for children, and communicated with parents and 3rd party providers (food aversion specialists and speech pathologists). I was flexible and adaptable to ever-changing environments and practiced conflict and dispute resolution with children. I have also babysat, petsat, and Read more housesat for my neighbors and family friends most of my life. I am very comfortable taking on responsibilities and following detailed instructions to ensure the health and safety of children and pets.
