Hello! My name is Michaela, and I’m an enthusiastic, responsible college student majoring in Human Physiology and minoring in Biochemistry at the University of Oregon. I love working with kids and creating a safe, fun environment where they can learn and grow. I have experience caring for children of different ages, from toddlers to preteens (some infants), and I’m comfortable helping with homework, preparing healthy meals, organizing games, and maintaining bedtime routines. My background in first aid and basic child safety (including CPR training, if applicable) means I’m always focused on keeping little ones happy and protected. As for detail on my experience with childcare, I have babysat for my little cousins (ages 2-11) countless times, was a hired babysitter in Highschool for about a year for kids 6-9 years old. While I was in Highschool, I also helped with our schools preschool multiple times a week as a teacher's Read more aide. I helped with parent pick up/ drop off, organizing activities, creating learning activities (for math and spelling), snack time, and of course spending time with the kiddos!
