My childcare experience includes working as a nanny, teaching in both infant and toddler classrooms, and providing specialized in-home care. In my home health role, I cared for a young boy with cerebral palsy who used a wheelchair, was nonverbal, and had a feeding tube. My responsibilities included providing daily personal care, assisting with feeding and other needs, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, and supporting his overall comfort and well-being. I also assisted with transportation and accompanied him to school, activities, and medical appointments. These experiences strengthened my patience, adaptability, communication skills, and ability to provide individualized care for children with different needs. I have had CPR/First-Aid certifications in the past and will be willing get it updated.
