Hello! My name is Janiya, and I am looking for a long-term family in need of a trustworthy nanny or sitter. I was born and raised in Chicago and have lived all over the city! Being the eldest daughter in a large family I’ve had my fair share of caretaking, as well as 3 years of paid sitting experience. I am comfortable with all ages ranging from newborns-teens and up to 3 children at once. I am punctual, patient, energetic, kind and genuinely enjoy helping children learn and grow. Growing up I was always very active. For 7 years I was in a Girl Scout troop where we sold enough cookies to take a trip around Europe! I spent 6 years attending Montrose beach’s Jr. lifeguard camp where I became CPR certified (and I have been re-certified since). I also played 8 years of competitive club/school volleyball where my career Read more ended because of the pandemic…and much more! I am an experienced driver with a clean record as well. I am comfortable driving kids and running errands, but do not carry my own car seats. My rate is a $24 minimum for 1 child and +$2 per child. Additionally, I am fully up to date on all vaccinations (including my covid-19 vaccines). I am a non-smoking sitter. Please keep in touch with you sitter and nanny needs :)
