*Seeking after-school job, or two to three long days in Park Slope in September with FUN family! Hello everyone, I’m looking for an after school job, or two to three long days in Park Slope with an organized, fun, thoughtful family for the school year. I would need 20 hours minimum, and would be available for date nights as well. Park Slope is next to where I live, as I live in Sunset Park next to Green-Wood. This is key if you have last minute needs outside of normal working hours. I’m always punctual, have an unparalleled joy for life, 24 years of experience, and excellent references! I love listening, teaching, and explaining things. I'm also a (fun & effective) reading and spelling teacher/tutor for children 3-6, I'm well traveled, (mostly all Europe) speak Italian, went to Fiorello LaGuardia as an art major, am a singer, mostly 1930’s-1940’s jazz, But most of all, I’m genuinely happy, and see the good in everyone. I create life long loving bonds with the children I care for and their parents, and children feel safe and secure talking to me about things that may be bothering them. I’ve had many parents over the years ask if perhaps I might speak to their child to find out what’s going on, it’s my forte! I also handle any behavior with understanding and redirecting in a positive way, because they are after all, still learning. I adore dogs as well, and am happy to take them for walks as well!
