My name is Kelly Pimpinella and I am looking to work with a loving family who will work well with my high energy and love of children. I am 28 years old and have a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Sport Science.  I have extensive experience caring for children from from various ages, both as a full-time (40 hour/week) nanny, a mentor, an after school tutor, after school kindergarten teacher, and day care teacher. I was at my most recent job for nearly 2.5 years (the child I care for has moved onto Montessori school). I come with very strong recommendations, which I am happy to share. I am reliable, caring, flexible, motivated and energetic. I have my own transportation with a very clean driving record.  I bring important strengths to my work, including maintaining a safe environment, implementing daily routines, adapting to various situations, and encouraging creativity and independence. While Read more minding a toddler, I also did family grocery shopping, light housekeeping, the child's laundry, made lunches for the family, took the child on outings around town (and to the Shedd Aquarium!). Rainy days were also great days to bring out my creativeness and the child's through art projects. I also adapted my schedule as needed for two working parents, adjusting for early departmental meetings or late lectures or campus events.  When I work with a family I put my whole heart into growing with the child and adhering to their needs.
