Meet Deborah
I am a full time artist and designer who loves caring for and spending time with children, and I’m looking for part-time sitter roles for school-age children in DC on evenings and weekends. I have many years of experience in childcare, and value safety (physical, social, and emotional), creativity, and building trust with the families I work with. I’m reliable and a great communicator. My childcare experience includes: 3 years as a full-time nanny, 3 years directing children's' art and recreation programs, 6 years directing a middle school summer camp, and I'm an active aunt to 16 nieces and nephews! We had a wonderful experience with Deborah! Our two boys really enjoyed spending time with her—she was kind, patient, and creative. They loved making crafts together and reading lots of books. It was clear they felt comfortable and happy in her care.
