Every day is a different experience. Full of surprises but every second is meaningful to me because those are what create ever lasting memories. I love that I am able to create a safe, caring, exciting and engaging environment for all those around me. It's very rewarding to be present in a child's life especially when a special bond is built like a friendship. I enjoy helping parents worry less about their children and help them relax knowing their children are in safe hands. Parents deserve to have someone taking care of their children just as well as they could. Being a constant presence in a child's life allows insight to watching their personality grow and develop through your shared every day interactions. I have a very bubbly energetic personality. Helping establish any routines for a child will be done with patience, engaging ideas that bring excitement and with specific methods that are catered to how each child learns/understands. I have childcare knowledge for all ages. I am well educated in my first aid and CPR certification as I have taken many online and in person classes over the years. I have taken multiple CPI classes as well which has taught me how to de-escalate any aggressive and disruptive behaviors. I have had many years taking care of all kinds of children. In high school, I would request to be a teacher's assistant in the special needs room. After high school, I worked as a special needs paraprofessional in an elementary school. I worked with kids in kindergarten to kids in fifth grade. From low functioning non verbal children to high functioning verbal children. Because every kid was different, I learned to adapt to each child's needs properly in order for them to learn new material. Adapting to all different types of personalities in children is very important in order to help them grow in life. I have been very involved in my nieces and nephews lives. They have told me many times that I'm their favorite because I bring the most fun. I have a very young heart that allows me to act silly and be playful that many kids love.
