INTRO: Hello! My name is Ana Mariela. I am a nurturing person, and enjoy caring for children, witnessing them discover the world, and supporting their development through playtime and healthy eating. I have a successful career of 10+ years in nonprofit management and corporate philanthropy, that I put on hold to help with our family strawberry farm and care for my grandmother. My husband, cat and I moved to Gilroy two years ago. SENIOR CARE: I have been a loving caretaker for seniors as well. I helped my family navigate the domestic and international medical industry during the pandemic to ensure my grandmother's safe travel to the USA. With the guidance of nurses, I had the honor of caring for her terminal illness and providing end-of-life care. PET CARE: I love animals and also have experience taking care of dogs, cats, fish, and birds. My animal companion is an orange American shorthair cat, called Chiris. Ana took care of our 1 year old son. We were looking for temporary help a few hours per day a few days a week. Ana was wonderful and she was flexible with our busy and unpredictable schedule. We could always rely on her. She was great with him, playing and singing to him, with blw feedings. Happy to recommend her!

We had the opportunity to work with Ana in the past few weeks. This was our first experience with a baby sitter and I am glad we found the best one. Ana is amazingly friendly with the kids and have a natural tendency to make them comfortable around her. She engages with them in various ways and meets kids at their level. My son is 20 months old and loves spending time with Ana. She is our first preference when we need a babysitter for our baby.
